BaiHao YinZhen means White Hair Silver Needle and describes the appearance of the dry tea buds. The tea buds are needle-shaped and are covered with fine white tea hair. The freshly picked tea buds are sun dried following traditional methods which require careful observation of the sun and the wind for 72 hours. It has a naturally sweet taste, which is perfectly balanced by a slightly smoky, woodsy fragrance that belies its light but complex palate.
