Yunnan Pine Needle (Dian Hong Song Zhen). Long, large tightly twisted needle like leaves, comprising of one leaf and a bud. Deep burnt browns and golden greyish tones in color. Once brewed the wet leaves give an aromatic combination of fruits and floral notes. The tea soup is a very satisfying warm golden color. Rich and rounded flavors, full the uniqueness of provenance sharing a sweetness with Dian Hong Bud Tea.
A spring tea! Harvest taking place between April and May. Grown in central southwest Yunnan at an elevation of approximately 1800m using large leaf varieties.
